Need retraining for your role as DPO or Privacy Officer? This six-month DPO training course will provide you with all the expertise and skills you need. Exchange practical experience as a fully authorised member of the TPF knowledge community. Use the online DPO Training environment and participate in 12 one-day class sessions. Enjoy all the benefits of 4-month online assistance from your own TPF coach. Receive professional coaching in twelve 2-hour group sessions, primarily aimed at exchanging practical experience with your co-students and supervisor. Get expert answers on specific questions, allowing you to apply the knowledge you have acquired to the needs of your organisation.
Having successfully completed the DPO Training & Coaching program, you will be able to confidently carry out your supervisory and advisory tasks. The training covers a full range of competence areas, such as:
  • implementing a structure of governance
  • creating and maintaining a register of processing operations
  • setting up an awareness program
  • drawing up and implementing privacy policies
  • implementing personal data protection
  • managing processor risks
  • drawing up privacy statements
  • setting up procedures for handling complaints and requests
  • monitoring daily processing practices
  • setting up data breach management programs
You will also have gained experience in assembling a privacy team responsible for carrying out and documenting the privacy activities assigned to its members in a dedicated privacy management tool. Using this tool to correctly carry out and document these activities is a reliable route to full GDPR accountability.
